The Black Creek Community Collaborative, formerly the Black Creek Community Capacity Building Project, is a network of residents, service-providers, and community stakeholders whose mission is to build community capacity, promote self-sufficiency and sustainability, and enhance the quality of life for all in the Black Creek Community.

The Black Creek Microcredit Program (BCMCP) is currently seeking members to do outreach and review community members’ applications for micro loans (up to $5,000). The microloans are to support:
1) business start-ups;
2) business expansion;
3) certification training for the skilled trades.
Established in 2007 as a part of The Black Creek Community Capacity Project (BCCCP), the BCWMCP, in partnership with ACCESS Community Capital Fund (a GTA wide micro lending program), Alterna and business support networks, aims to provide loans and skills development to community members in the wider Jane and Finch community.
