Title: FREE TAC Grant-Writing Workshop: REGISTER by Wednesday June 15th
Description: On June 23rd from 2:00-4:00pm, the Neighbourhood Arts Network and the Toronto Arts Council will host a free grant-writing workshop at Upfront Theatre. The workshop will cover Community Arts, Theatre, Dance, and Music. The session is designed for emerging artists, arts organizations and/or those new to the grants system. Get tips on writing effective grants, including budgeting and the selection of support material. Margo Charlton (Theatre Officer) and Andrew Suri (Community Arts Officer) will facilitate the workshop.
This free workshop takes place June 23rd from 2-4pm at 1290 Finch Avenue West (Keele and Finch). Priority registration for NAN Members before June 15th! To help ensure access to a larger number of groups, registration is limited to one person per organization. To register, please contact skye@torontoarts.org.

Description: This is a Master of Education cohort of 15-17 graduate students that includes staff members of schools in the Jane/Finch neighborhood, community residents, and members of local community-service and community-based organizations. The cohort takes the equivalent of 4 half-courses together at the YU/TD Community Engagement Centre at the Yorkgate Mall, four half-course electives at the York University Main Campus, and completes an action research project (MRP).
